If we can change our thinking, we can change what we believe — and if we believe differently, we will achieve something beyond where we are right now. Many artists want to become full-time professionals but don’t believe they are good enough, or original enough, or they think they are sure to fail. But these are lies and our true potential is waiting to be uncovered.
Take these steps today and change your life! Achieve all that you dream of and all that you desire.
It must be exposed and seen for what it is. That belief can no longer go around masquerading as sensible caution. It’s a lie and nothing else.
Flip it. If the lie is “I’m not good enough,” flip it to: “I'm really good. I’m passionate and willing to work hard and learn.” If the lie says, “I’m sure to fail. I don't have what it takes,” flip it to: “I will never give up, and through persistence, I will certainly succeed.”
This may include online groups like Art Social or reading books from people who have overcome. Listen to motivational podcasts to help change your beliefs.
Every day, do something that nurtures your dream and what you are working towards. This will build your confidence and help you to permanently shift your thinking.
Write down your goals. Record your achievements. Journal, meditate or pray. Don't give in to distraction.
Practice these steps and your whole life will change.
You have purpose and value. You are the only one who can achieve your very unique destiny. The only thing stopping you is what you believe. You have the power to change that. It starts with one courageous step of wanting to change — beginning to believe something different, something more extraordinary.
You will break through whatever your 4-minute mile is and be unstoppable!
