Step into a powerful, process-driven approach to landscape painting in this immersive two-day, in-person class led by professional artist Stephanie Linden. Radiant Underpainting Landscape is designed to give you a strong foundational understanding of layered painting techniques that bring depth, luminosity, and life to your work.

On Day One, you’ll build the essential groundwork of your painting through two critical layers. You’ll begin with a radiant underpainting in acrylic, learning how to establish color harmony and light from the very start. From there, you’ll move into a dark subtractive layer using oil paint; an eye-opening technique that helps define form, value, and atmosphere by pulling light out of darkness.

On Day Two, you’ll bring your painting to life as you refine your composition with oils. This stage focuses on highlights, detail work, and subtle adjustments that elevate your piece from a study to a finished work of art.

This class is rooted in core principles from the Mastery Program and is intentionally designed to be highly informative, practical, and inspiring.
